Term One, 11th April 2018

First Term Coming to a Close
It is somewhat amazing to realise that first term is almost complete! Where have the last 11 weeks gone? It is perhaps a very good indicator of just how busily engaged everyone has been that the weeks seem to have rocketed past so quickly. It has been a very productive term for the staff and students, with so much tremendous learning, discovering, exploring, inventing, creating and solving going on. I am truly amazed by the way in which our Kindy children have settled into the routines of school life and are just surging ahead with their play-based learning and engagement in all activities.

Interschool Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to our intrepid and courageous Interschool Swim Team, who competed so admirably at yesterday’s Interschool Carnival in Rockingham. We had a few notable wins in various individual races and a couple of relay victories, which was terrific. Once again, I was really impressed with the positive outlook and approach of our swimmers towards the whole carnival. Irrespective of whether they were winning, losing or drawing, their attitude was one of “giving it their best shot” and enjoying the carnival as an event.
